The B2B international event of the project Friends4Family “Alliance between rural areas for family-friendly tourist hospitality” took place in Veglie (Puglia) on 8 and 9 October 2021.

The event, organized by the LAG Terra d’Arneo (project partner), hosted a delegation coming from Albania composed by institutional representatives of the Region of Vlore (Lead Partner), stakeholders and companies operating in the tourism and rural development sector. They were welcomed by the President of the LAG Terra d’Arneo, Mr. Cosimo Durante, who introduced the two-days of work.

On Friday 8 October, the Albanian delegation was engaged in study visits at rural companies (such as agritourism and didactic farms) where the Albanian operators saw the activities and the initiatives implemented for a good management of the rural tourism.

Apulian and Albanian touristic operators met on 9th October 2021 during the international B2B event where they share objectives and future opportunities for cooperation. The collaboration was formalized with the signing of 10 cooperation agreements which represent the starting point for the launch of new cooperation initiatives between Puglia and Albania in the field of family tourism.
