17 December 2020
3D-IMP-ACT, final event on 18 December, with scientific conference and creative workshops
Overview

The Directorate-Regional of Museums – Puglia, partner of 3D-IMP-ACT project, funded by the Interreg IPA CBC Italy-Albania-Montenegro programme, announces the installation of two artistic works made by Paolo "Gep" Cucco and Emilia Serra, in the Castle of Gioia del Colle and in the National Archaeological Museum of Egnazia.

Inside one of the Egnazia National Archaeological Museum’s room, Emilia Serra will create an artistic work realized with original archaeological materials and different objects made both with 3D printing and by local artisans. The set of these objects will constitute an interactive game intended to highlight the complexity and at the same time the charm of archaeological research.

Paolo “Gep” Cucco will carry out a digital project intended to transform one room of Gioia del Colle’s castle into a vision of the world at the time of Frederick II of Swabia. This artistic work will start from the reliefs made during the project and then they will be transfigured into a symbolic vision of the castle's architecture and its history.

Both artistic works will be shown and illustrated on December 18, 2020 - h.15.00, during the Project Final Conference which will be organized online.
