The FRIENDS4FAMILY Interreg IPA CBC Italy-Albania-Montenegro project is in its final phase and will finish at the end of this year. The Regional Council of Vlora will be the responsible institution for the organisation of the Final Conference in Albania. This event will be held in Vlora on 23 October 2021 and will cover the main project outputs, a plenary session on family tourism will be presented and also a studio interview in local television will be held.

It is important for this final conference in Albania to be held with the presence of all actors related with the field of family tourism in order to not only communicate the results of FRIENDS4FAMILY project, but also to allow face-to-face discussions and exchange the know-how of the Italian similar structures and businesses, with the possibility to enlarge the cooperation.

The Conference’s programme will cover, on the one hand, different examples of best practices from businesses in Italy from the Puglia Region which have joined the network created by FRIENDS4FAMILY project partners.  On the other hand, questions such as “how to make family tourism in respective regions more sustainable” and “how to get higher added value for the local population” will be addressed by different stakeholders and participants in this activity. After this discussion a live studio interview will be made in a local tv station and this will also be streamed online in the facebook page of the project, and will be shared in other respective facebook pages of project partners.

Besides, these considerations concerning regional and national needs will also be shared with the audience.

Additionally, an in-depth analysis of FRIENDS4FAMILY project achievements during the project implementation, and how FRIENDS4FAMILY project can contribute to the further development of sustainable ecosystem for family tourism.
