The Final Conference of the Interreg FAME CLUSTER project marked a turning point in cross-border cooperation between Italy, Albania, and Montenegro. Held in the vibrant city of Tirana, the event celebrated not only the project’s achievements, but also the beginning of a long-term strategic partnership in the cultural and creative sectors.
At the heart of the conference were the presentation of two key joint outcomes:
- FAME Cluster Joint Action Plan – A strategic roadmap outlining the governance model and key functions of the newly established FAME Cluster, designed to support ongoing collaboration and project sustainability.
- FAME Cluster Digital Movie Tourism Plan – An editorial and storytelling framework to boost the cross-border promotion of regional destinations through innovative audio-visual content.
The event culminated with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by all project partners — a bold and symbolic commitment to:
- Implement the Joint Action Plan together
- Strengthen cross-border cooperation
- Enhance digital and social storytelling skills
- Develop and co-produce joint audio-visual content and services
"The FAME Cluster is not just a project—it's a shared vision and a durable ecosystem for cultural innovation," said one of the lead partners during the ceremony.
With the creative industries playing a growing role in shaping identity, employment, and tourism, FAME CLUSTER leaves behind more than results—it lays the foundation for a living, evolving network of creators, institutions, and territories.
