PROESKPORT ALBANIA Association, organizes the conference of the AMTECH cross-border cooperation project “Workshop on additive and advanced manufacturing technologies and digitalisation of production in the IPA area”.
The initiative is aimed to strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs in the development of more sustainable and convenient products by introducing innovative Additive Manufacturing technologies, even in traditional sectors.
The event will be held on 26th of November 2024 at Tirana International Hotel - Consortium (Event room), located at Sheshi Skënderbej 8, Tirana 1001.
Albania is taking a significant leap into the future of industrial technology with the launch of the AMTECH Program, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at fostering the adoption of Additive Manufacturing (AM), also known as 3D printing, among Albanian businesses. The program is designed to accelerate innovation, enhance the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and position Albania as a leader in the rapidly evolving global manufacturing sector.
A Growth Opportunity with Additive Manufacturing technologies, including 3D printing, are revolutionizing industrial production by enabling businesses to reduce costs, improve product quality, and increase production flexibility. The AMTECH program is focused on integrating these advanced technologies into the Albania, Italy and Montenegro industrial landscape, offering technical support, training, and access to cutting-edge resources for local businesses.
The AMTECH program is not only designed to strengthen the competitiveness of IPA Area SMEs but also to promote a more sustainable economic model. By enabling local production of complex components without the need for long supply chains or imports, companies can reduce their carbon footprints while streamlining their production processes.

The workshop in Albania thank’s of AMTECH program will offer training courses for entrepreneurs, engineers, technicians and students, aiming to foster a culture of innovation and technological advancement across Albania. In the near future, the program will introduce incentives for companies wishing to invest directly in 3D printing technologies, while networking events and international collaborations will highlight the latest developments in the Additive Manufacturing sector.
