As part of the CLEAN project (CLimate changE covenANt of mayor), co-financed by the Interreg IPA South Adriatic Programme, Puglia Region, in its role as lead partner, is organising on 2 July 2025 the workshop “Good Practices and Grants Scouting for Sustainability” at Department of Environment, Landscape and Urban Quality – Via Gentile 52, Bari

This workshop represents a significant milestone in the project's implementation. It aims to promote sustainable energy planning and enhance the capacity-building of local authorities, particularly in the development and adoption of Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans (SECAPs) within the framework of the Covenant of Mayors initiative.

The event will offer insights into:

• Regional and metropolitan guidelines for SECAP implementation
• Practical experiences from municipalities across the Puglia Region
• Digital tools for monitoring, reporting, and managing local climate and energy strategies

A dedicated session will focus on the exchange of best practices and lessons learned among local administrations, energy agencies, and stakeholders from the Programme area (Italy, Albania, and Montenegro) through interactive discussions and networking opportunities.

The workshop is open to:

• Local administrators and public officials
• Climate and energy planning professionals
• Institutional stakeholders
• All those interested in the green transition and sustainable urban development
