Puglia Region - Digital Growth Section for people, territories, and businesses of the Department of Economic Development, in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science of the University of Bari "Aldo Moro", the CINI - National Inter-University Consortium for Informatics, and ANCI Puglia, presents UPSKILLING for GOVERNANCE, an Advanced Training Course aimed at employees of Apulian municipalities. The program, focused on digitalization, administrative simplification, and European fund management, represents a concrete opportunity to strengthen skills and improve the efficiency of territorial governance.
The Advanced Training Course, free of charge and reserved for a maximum of 40 municipal employees from Puglia, will award 33 university credits upon passing a final exam. The program includes 200 hours of online training and 100 hours of in-person training (potentially also via webinars). The training covers key topics such as digitalization, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, administrative simplification, public speaking in institutional contexts, and European fund management — essential skills to modernize Public Administration.
The online training content will also be made freely available in open format on the GOVERNANCE project platform to all Apulian municipal employees who wish to access it. Participants will receive a certificate of participation, which may be recognized by their Administrations for mandatory training purposes.
