
The Municipality of Fossalto (Molise) will host the workshop "The Fossalto's Experience in Joining the Covenant of Mayors and in the Preparation of the Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan (SECAP) " as part of CLEAN project, on 18 Febraury 2025 (CityHall).
This session will provide a comprehensive overview of Fossalto’s commitment to the Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy, detailing the steps taken in developing its and the broader implications for the region.
During the workshop, experts in climate policy, municipal planning, and sustainable development will present detailed case studies on how the Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan (SECAP) contribute to effective energy transition strategies. Municipal representatives will share firsthand experiences, challenges, and success stories from Fossalto’s journey towards sustainability. The session will also focus on the opportunities available for local authorities to secure European and national funding to support their environmental initiatives.
Participants will gain valuable insights into the methodologies and frameworks necessary for implementing a successful Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan (SECAP), as well as practical knowledge on how to align local policies with broader European sustainability objectives.
