Interreg FAME Cluster hosts in Tirana the Workshop on Regional Cultural and Economic Collaboration
Overview

The Municipality of Tirana will host the FAME Cluster Local Workshop on Regional Cultural and Economic Collaboration, that will be held in the Municipality venue on 24 February 2025.

The event aims to promote cultural development, tourism, and economic exchange by fostering regional collaboration, by involving the local and international stakeholders in order to share best practices, discuss strategic plans, and strengthen cooperation across the cultural and creative industries.

The workshop will be structured into two key segments:

Session I: Expert Presentations

The first session will feature distinguished speakers who will present insights and initiatives that contribute to cultural and economic development:

  • Genci Kojdheli (Tirana Municipality) – Supporting youth in artistic growth and cultural activities.
  • Xhemal Mato – Tirana Joint Action Plan: Key components and regional impact.
  • Tiziana Laurenzi (Italy) – International best practices in cultural and creative industries.
  • Vladana Vucinic (Montenegro) – Regional perspectives on fostering cultural exchange.

Session II: Thematic Round Tables

The second part of the workshop will consist of interactive round table discussions, each addressing a crucial aspect of the digital movie production sector:

  • Cultural Domain – Fostering artistic expression in digital movie production, led by Gerta Kordalli (Tirana Art Gallery).
  • History Domain – Integrating cultural heritage into digital storytelling, led by Admirina Peçi (Bunk’Art 2).
  •  International Best Practices – Exploring successful initiatives from Europe with insights from Vincenzo Bellini (Puglia Creativa) and Andrea Cerullo (Compagnia Stabile del Molise)
  • Tourism Domain – Using digital movie production as a tool for cultural revival, led by Shqipe Berisha (Tirana Pyramid).

The workshop will conclude with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), led by Adela Krajka (Municipality of Tirana). This will formalize commitments to the FAME Cluster Joint Action Plan, paving the way for long-term cooperation among regional and international partners.
