On October 29–30, 2025, the ITS Antonio Cuccovillo Foundation will host the Kick-Off Meeting of the HISTEK TEST project in Bari. 

In Italy, Albania, and Montenegro, many young people leave their countries seeking better job opportunities abroad. At the same time, local companies struggle to find qualified workers with the right technological and practical skills. The HISTEK TEST project aims to bridge this gap by creating a cross-border educational system aligned with the 5th level of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF). It connects Higher Vocational Education and Training (HVET) institutions, companies, and public bodies across borders to strengthen education and labor market links.

Through testing and validation activities, HISTEK TEST will enhance collaboration between education and the workforce, opening new opportunities for highly skilled technicians.

Project partners include ITS Antonio Cuccovillo Foundation (Lead Partner, Italy), Regional Union of the Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Craft and Agriculture of Puglia (Italy), Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tirana (Albania), Aleksander Moisiu University Durrës (Albania), Chamber of Economy of Montenegro (Montenegro), Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation of Montenegro (Montenegro).

HISTEK TEST is designed to help education and work grow together, transforming learning into opportunities for highly specialized technicians across the South Adriatic region.
