A new journey to strengthen cross-border cooperation in the South Adriatic region: this is the leitmotiv of the event "From Italy-Albania-Montenegro to Interreg IPA South Adriatic. Cooperation continues: handing-over to the new Programme" scheduled for Wednesday, 13 September 2023, at Fiera del Levante in Bari (10:30 - 13:30, Hall 152, Room 2).
The initiative will be attended by esteemed figures, including Crescenzo Antonio Marino, Director of the Programme Managing Authority, Gilles Kittel, DG REGIO, European Commission, Antonio Verrico, Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Italy, Ilir Beqaj, State Agency of Strategic Programming and Aid Coordination, Albania, Bojan Vujović, Ministry of European Affairs of Montenegro, Alessandro Delli Noci, Regional Minister for Economic Development, Puglia Region, Gianna Elisa Berlingerio, Director of the Department for Economic Development, Puglia Region. It provides an opportunity for representatives from these three countries to announce the beginning of a new phase of regional cooperation and development.
The event’s agenda encompasses two key moments: the first is dedicated to celebrating the remarkable achievements of the Interreg IPA CBC Italy-Albania-Montenegro 2014-2020 Programme, while the latter focuses on the 2021-27 South Adriatic Strategic Projects through a roundtable discussion.
As the event nears its conclusion, final remarks will offer a glimpse into the future, providing insights into the forthcoming Call for Standard Projects.
