ILOFORDIGITAL empowers a cross border digital, entrepreneurial and professional skills network
Overview

On Wednesday 10th of July 2024 the University of Bary will host the European workshop “Participatory process and co-design of ILOFORDIGITAL development and enhancement activities”.

The event is part of the activities foreseen by the ILOFORDIGITAL project, “Industrial Liaison Offices (ILO) for empowerment of a cross border Digital, entrepreneurial and professional skills network”, financed by the European Union through Interreg IPA South Adriatic Programme 2021/2027. The project was born from the cooperation of the Department of Informatics of the University of Bary in partnership with Sviluppo Italia Molise, University of Vlora “Ismail Qemali” in Albania, “Fan S. Noli” University in Albania and Montenegrin Employers Federation. In parallel, important associated partners such as the International Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies, Apulian It District, Aleksandër Moisiu University Durrës, Polytechnic University of Tirana, Dhitech High-Tech Technological District Scarl, are involved to ensure a widespread diffusion of ILOFORDIGITAL features.

ILOFORDIGITAL arises from the recognition of the growing problem of the lack of high-level skills, especially in the digital sector, and the need to train skills at international level to avoid the “brain drain” phenomenon towards the Member States, and encourage youth entrepreneurship and the creation of new innovative enterprises in Apulia, Molise, Albania and Montenegro. The overall objective is to share, develop and strengthen skills, methodologies and knowledge to empower a cross border Digital, entrepreneurial and professional skills network.

The workshop will allow to discuss the participatory process and co-design of ILOFORDIGITAL development and enhancement activities, in collaboration with international and associated partners coming from different countries. A specific session will be concentrated on the “Context analysis” conducted in partners’ territorial area and several meetings will be led by an expert in facilitation and management of participatory pathways, with the direct involvement of the stakeholders. The contributions collected will be used to design the development and enhancement of the context analysis and the joint strategy as well as the training and accompanying actions.
