From Italy-Albania-Montenegro to Interreg IPA South Adriatic, Cooperation continues: we are pleased to announce the handing-over event to the new Programme. Scheduled to take place at Fiera del Levante on 13 September 2023, the event will bring together representatives from Italy, Albania, and Montenegro to mark the beginning of a new phase of regional cooperation and development.

Key figures such as Alessandro Delli Noci, Regional Minister for Economic Development – Puglia Region, Gianna Elisa Berlingerio, Director of the Department for Economic Development - Puglia Region, Crescenzo Antonio Marino, Director of the Programme Managing Authority, and Gilles Kittel, European Commission - DG Regio, are expected to take part in the initiative along with Heads of Delegations from Italy, Albania, and Montenegro.

The agenda features a celebration of the remarkable results achieved by the Interreg IPA CBC Italy-Albania-Montenegro 2014-2020, a moment to present the successful projects that have enriched the area, promoting economic growth, cultural exchange, and social cohesion.

The second part of the event will be dedicated to the 2021-27 South Adriatic Strategic Projects. The Lead Partners will participate in a moderated roundtable discussion to introduce the strategic projects, focusing on Creativity, Resilience, Connectivity, Skills, and Governance.

The closing remarks will include an outlook to the future call for standard projects.
