On Monday 14 October 2024, from 2.00 to 5.00pm, the second Skills Definition Lab dedicated to nautics will be held at SNIM - Puglia Boat Show in Brindisi.
The Skills Definition Labs are part of the activities foreseen in the SKILLS strategic project, financed by the Interreg IPA South Adriatic Programme 2021-2027, which aims to improve the availability of qualified competences and skills on the labour market as a lever to strengthen the development of key economic sectors in the South Adriatic, with particular reference to the Blue Economy.
The Skills Definition Labs are interactive workshops in which participants will be involved in guided focus groups aimed at outlining employment trends and supporting the analysis of specific skills required by one of the main sectors of the Blue Economy in Apulia, through the exchange of experiences and points of view.
The event will be opened by Silvia Pellegrini, Director of the Department of Labour market policies, Education, Training of Puglia Region, and will be introduced by Antonio Lombardo (Puglia Region) and Valeria Patruno (ARTI), both members of the Skills cross-border permanent table. During the event, interactive thematic focus groups will be held on the following topics: port activities, shipbuilding and maritime transport. The conclusions will be drawn by the Regional Minister for Education, Training and Work of Puglia Region, Sebastiano Leo.
The event is being organised by Puglia Region - Department of Labour market policies, Education, Training, which is partner of the project, and ARTI - Regional Agency for Technology and Innovation, which is providing technical assistance.
