In the framework of the LONETA  “Local opportunities for negative emission technologies and their application” project, the B2B event “Working Table - NETs Advocacy & Dissemination for Public Administrations” will be held on 14 December 2021. Participation will be ensured both in presence in Ulcinji and also online.

Starting from the public-private networking activities enhanced during the B2B event carried out in October in Lecce, this event aims to perform targeted advocacy and dissemination activities toward decision makers and public administrations on the full potential of NETs application towards carbon neutrality targets. 

After a brief overview on the role of negative emission technologies for European carbon neutrality, national and local initiatives on NETs, nature-based solutions and biodiversity restoration will be presented. This meeting will set the ground for the development of the 1st Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on NETs development in the Southern Adriatic.
