On Tuesday, 18 November, the kick-off meeting of the “Artisan 4.0 – Digital Transformation and Innovation for Artisans in the South Adriatic Region” project will take place at the CNA Bari-BAT headquarters in Via Tridente 2/Bis. The initiative is co-funded by the European Union under the Interreg IPA South Adriatic programme.
The event marks the official start of the project’s activities, aimed at supporting digital transformation, the adoption of innovative technologies, and strengthening the competitiveness of artisan enterprises in the South Adriatic regions.
CNA Bari-BAT, the project’s lead partner, will host representatives of the five project partners – University LUM Giuseppe Degennaro, CNA Campobasso, Nucleus Albania, and the Agency for Development and Business Support Cetinje – along with members of the Joint Secretariat (JS).
The working session, scheduled from 9:30 to 16:00, includes the presentation of the project’s strategic objectives and expected results, an overview of the planned activities, and the definition of coordination procedures among partners. The agenda also features sessions dedicated to administrative and financial management, communication, initial technical activities within the work packages, and an operational discussion on the digital tools that will be made available to artisan businesses.
The “Artisan 4.0” project represents an important step toward modernising the artisan sector in the Adriatic area, promoting a cross-border ecosystem capable of fostering innovation, sustainability, and new skills for micro and small enterprises.
