The FRAME project is set to begin its journey with a two-day Kick-off Meeting in Bari on 16–17 December 2025, gathering partners from Italy, Montenegro and Albania. Hosted by the Apulia Film Commission, the event will introduce the project’s upcoming activities and mark the start of a coordinated effort to boost the film and audiovisual sector across the South Adriatic.
Co-funded by the Interreg IPA South Adriatic 2021–2027 Programme, FRAME is designed to strengthen the regional audiovisual ecosystem by encouraging professional collaboration, supporting new co-productions, and providing training paths for emerging filmmakers.
The project will deliver several key results, including the creation of a cross-border network of film SMEs, the development of joint audiovisual productions, and a travelling screenwriting workshop aimed at enhancing skills and fostering creative exchange. One of the flagship outputs will be the South Adriatic Co-development Film Fund, established to support high-quality films developed through cross-border cooperation.
The project is led by Apulia Film Commission, in cooperation with Film Centre of Montenegro, Albanian National Centre of Cinematography and Molise Cultura Foundation.
