Opening of BioTourS Dolphin Center on 26 December in Podgorica
Overview

IEC Tehnopolis will organize the opening of the BioTourS Dolphin Center and educational, interactive exhibition, as part of the BioTourS project, which is implemented in cooperation with Ionian Dolphin Conservation (ITA), the National Tourist Agency of Albania and the Municipality of Termoli (ITA), financed through the Interreg IPA CBC Italy-Albania-Montenegro programme, co-financed by the European Union.

The event will take place on Monday, 26 December 2022 in the premises of the Natural History Museum of Montenegro which is located in Oktobarske revolcije 74 street in Podgorica. The event is starting at 12pm.

Through the aforementioned project, IEC Tehnopolis equipped the BioTourS Dolphin Center within the Natural History Museum of Montenegro, which in the future will represent a central point for various exhibitions and interactive presentations for local citizens and tourists, with the aim of increasing awareness of biodiversity and cetacean conservation. On this occasion, an exhibition will be organized within the BioTourS Dolphin Center, which will give all interested visitors the opportunity to learn more about the characteristics of cetaceans and their habitats, with special attention to the species that inhabit the Adriatic Sea.

With the ceremonial opening of the BioTourS Dolphin Center IEC Tehnopolis and educational, interactive exhibition IEC Tehnopolis continues to share goals and objectives of BioTourS project such as preserving the natural heritage of the Adriatic Sea and involving young people in cross-border tourist activities that will raise awareness of cetacean conservation.
