A special tribute to the 10th anniversary of European Cooperation Day, to engage citizens and discuss about the values of cooperation.
The event is organized by the Government of Montenegro - European Integration Office, in collaboration with Interreg Croatia-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Montenegro, and Interreg IPA CBC Italy-Albania-Montenegro Programmes.
Morning activities include art workshops with students of the Primary School ''Mrkojevići'', project visits, and an institutional meeting between the Chief Negotiator Ms. Zorka Kordić and the President of the Municipality of Bar Mr. Dušan Raičević.
In the evening there will be a ceremonial event at King Nikola’s Palace in Bar, the awarding of art competition winners, and the screening of promotional films on EU funded projects. Finally, live entertainment.
European Cooperation Day, which is celebrated on 21 September and the surrounding weeks, was launched in 2011 to encourage reflections and disseminate good practices in the countries involved in cooperation projects. Now it represents a valuable opportunity for Interreg programmes to promote thematic initiatives and to remind citizens that many good things come out when we join forces.
