Overview

Are you interested in innovative solutions related to the negative emission technologies (with special focus on the forest and marine sectors) for a carbon neutral society?

Please get on board into the LONETA project and join us as project stakeholder.

The LONETA project (funded by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy-Albania-Montenegro Programme) aims at enhancing the administrative, industrial and technical framework conditions for the development of new cross-border green market niches in the programme area, by fostering early-stage and pilot investments on negative emission technologies (NETs) in Italy, Albania and Montenegro.

Negative emission technologies (NETs) are capable of removing GHGs from the atmosphere focused on carbon dioxide removal (CDR) since CO2 is the major GHG, thus compensating for the overshoot of carbon budget (total amount of CO2 that can be added without exceeding the target temperatures). The priority NETs for the LONETA project are related to the forest and marine sector.

On 16 June 2021, the Opening Conference set the scene for the creation of a collaborative space on NETs and a first group of stakeholders has been identified. Nevertheless, your knowledge and expertise are more than welcome!!

Please express your interest in the LONETA community through the LONETA Jamboard.

Here some simple guidelines on how to use Jamboard:

  1. Click on the above hyperlink.
  2. Add your inputs through a sticky note in the dashboard by clicking on the   dashboard Button  button
  3. Please add your main data (name, institution and email) and briefly detail why you are interested in NETs in the forest and marine sector.
  4. Please remind to click on the “SAVE” button.
