LLC "Regional Waterworks for Montenegrin Coast" will host a conference on July 4, 2024, titled "How to Secure Water Supply and Create Resilient Water Infrastructure" at 9:00 am at Hotel Ramada in Podgorica.

The conference is part of the Integrated Water Management System in Crossborder Area - CROSSWATER+ project, led by LLC Regional Waterworks for Montenegrin Coast in cooperation with Acquedotto Pugliese in Italy and Tirana Water and Sewerage Utility from Albania.

The project aims to reduce pollution and protect water resources by developing a joint solution for continuous training and monitoring. This will enhance the skills of managers, technicians, and researchers on both sides of the South Adriatic, positively impacting water and marine environments. One panel will present the CROSSWATER cross-border Integrated Water Management Plan.

The conference will address critical water preservation issues and emphasize the importance of water conservation. It will highlight that water is a shared global resource. 

Participants will include public institutions, local water companies, universities, students, and NGOs, sharing best practices from the CROSSWATER project.
