Interreg Cooperation Day: Italy, Albania, and Montenegro unite through Music!
Overview

Prepare to be part of a fantastic and free event open to all citizens, featuring live performances by bands from Italy, Albania, and Montenegro. The evening will be packed with entertainment, including special guests from the music industry and a captivating video exhibition. Welcoming remarks from programme and institutional representatives will introduce the event.

All these elements come together on 25 October in Bari at Spazio Murat to commemorate Interreg Cooperation Day, organised by the Interreg IPA South Adriatic Programme. The event is aptly named "I AM Music – Sounds from Italy, Albania, and Montenegro", encapsulating the acronym of these nations and emphasising our collective identity.

This spectacular evening will shine a spotlight on the positive impacts of a partnership that, over the years, has fostered cultural inclusivity, bridged territorial disparities, and expanded new horizons for sustainable development. The goals of this initiative are twofold: to generate increased interest in European cross-border cooperation and to present the remarkable achievements of the Italy-Albania-Montenegro Programme in the just-concluded programming phase.

It's worth noting that the bands performing on the stage have been created thanks to the "FAME – Innovative Model for Young Artists Cross-Border Laboratory" project. This initiative has provided support to emerging pop, rock, and trap singer-songwriters aged 18 to 35, enhancing their artistic talents and propelling them into the music market. The collaboration with Teatro Pubblico Pugliese, the project's promoter, is invaluable, and they are now a partner for this event.

Mark your calendars for 25 October, from 8 p.m., at Piazza Ferrarese in Spazio Murat, Bari. Admission is free, so don't miss out!
