
The HEVON – High quality EVO oil Network of competitive MSMEs in South Adriatic project officially launches its activities with a two-day event hosted in Larino (CB), Italy, on 9–10 October 2025.
The internal Kick-off Meeting, taking place on Thursday 9 October at the Municipality of Larino, will gather all partners to plan the project’s first operational phase.
The agenda includes presentations of project activities and work packages, administrative and communication sessions, and thematic focuses on the Transnational Living Lab, HEVON Guidelines, and the B2B Platform for enterprises.
The following day, Friday 10 October, the public presentation event will be held at the Polo Fieristico of Larino, within the historic 282nd October Fair.
The opening session will feature institutional greetings by Giuseppe Puchetti, Mayor of Larino, and Giorgio Manes, President of the Union of Municipalities of Basso Biferno, with interventions from Luigi D’Eramo, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry, and Paolo Spina, President of the Molise Chamber of Commerce.
During the event, project partners will present the HEVON objectives and upcoming actions aimed at strengthening a cross-border network of high-quality EVO oil producers.
By promoting best practices, shared visibility, and innovative networking tools, the project seeks to enhance the competitiveness of MSMEs in the South Adriatic and increase consumer awareness about the value of excellence in olive oil production.
The initiative, funded by the Interreg IPA South Adriatic Programme, is led by the Unione dei Comuni del Basso Biferno in partnership with Coop. Kairos and LUM – Libera Università Mediterranea Giuseppe Degennaro (Italy), Coop. Valdanos (Montenegro), the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Durrës, and the Municipality of Berat (Albania).
