REGLPORTS, first webinar series on Nautical Tourism Development on 5 March 2021
Overview

The first webinar series “Discussion about the project REGLPORTS - Nautical Tourism Development and Promotion of Regional Ports”, will be held on 5 March 2021, at 10:30 am.

The webinar  is organized by National Coastline Agency (Lead Partner of the project), in collaboration with Municipality of Molfetta, Upi Puglia, Municipality of Termoli, Ministry of Tourism & Environment, and Port Hercegnovi. 

There will be a virtual discussion about the overall objective of the project “REGLPORTS - Nautical Tourism Development and Promotion of Regional Ports” (Implementation period: 2018-2021), regarding the development of a common model for smart and sustainable Nautical Tourism management through an integrated development plan. 

REGLPORTS aims to provide a holistic approach by: (a) connecting the coastal areas with the rich inland’s assets, (b) emerging and promoting the interconnected areas (Area Brand, Thematic Routes), and (c) upgrading tourism supporting services and products. 

The purpose of the creation of Thematic Routes is as to fully exploit the assets of the coastal and the inland areas, considered as a unified and interconnected natural system, by developing a Tourism Development Plan to study the sites of the intervention area based on REGLPORTS approach.
