SEEDS Project strengthens crossborder cultural and creative Entrepreneurship in the South Adriatic
Overview

The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports officially launched the cross-border project SEEDS – Strengthening Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in the Domain of the Cultural and Creative Sector during its Kick-Off Meeting held at the National Library, "Sotir Kolea" Center, within the framework of the IPA CBC South Adriatic Program.

The opening of the meeting was delivered by the General Director for Arts, Culture and Youth Mrs. Anisa Pollo at the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports, who highlighted the importance of the project in advancing the cultural and creative sector and strengthening regional cooperation.

The event brought together representatives of project partner institutions, cultural professionals, local stakeholders and interest groups from Albania, Italy and Montenegro.

The meeting marked the official start of project implementation and presented its objectives, intervention structure, work plan and package of activities. Discussions also focused on the allocation of roles and responsibilities among partners, the methodology for drafting the SEEDS Cross-Border Strategy, and the establishment of management and communication mechanisms.

SEEDS aims to strengthen the cultural and creative sector in the South Adriatic area by addressing challenges related to the link between culture, creativity and entrepreneurship. The project focuses on supporting SMEs, enhancing professional skills, developing new models of cultural governance and building sustainable professional and institutional networks.

The project is implemented in partnership withMinistry of Tourism, Culture and Sports – Albania (Lead Partner), National Theatre of Albania, Puglia Public Theatre (Italy), Montenegrin Employers Federation, Municipality of Agnone (Italy).
