SESC project, second International Workshop in Podgorica
Overview

In line with the specific activities of the SESC project implementation, the Faculty of Information Technologies (UNIM – the University of Mediterranean) organized the 2nd International Workshop “Smart Cities: Part of a Broader Digital Economy“ on 20 September 2021 in Podgorica.  

The event was prepared by the UNIM staff and in cooperation with the Capital City Podgorica. The city provided the Multimedia Room of the City Cultural Centre – KIC “BudoTomovic” and in that sense delivered higher publicity to the event. 

The Vice-Rector of the UNIM, Prof. dr. Darko Lacmanovic has opened the workshop on 20th followed by the introduction words given by the Project Leader, Prof. dr. Snezana Scepanovic. The UNIM representatives expressed their satisfaction for the organization of such workshop and their introduction was followed by the trainers: Mrs. Teodora Kusovac, Senior Advisor, International Cooperation Office, Capital City  Podgorica Mr. Draško Boljević, CEO of EKOFOND Montenegro, Mrs.Tamara Ninković, Energy Regulatory Agency-expert, Mr. Ranko Vuković, Directorate for Development and ICT, Montenegrin electricity distribution system - CEDIS- expert and Mrs Olga Radović, Senior adviser for strategy and risk, Montenegrin Electric power industry (Elektroprivreda Crne Gore - EPCG). 

The workshop has been held according to the dissemination strategy point of the project implementation and served to present the current state in the field of energies and also to provide training for the participants at the workshop. More than 40 people attended the workshop and received the Certificate for the training participation.
