Slađana Pešić joins as new National Contact Point for Montenegro
Overview

Slađana Pešić has joined the Ministry of European Affairs of Montenegro as a new National Contact Point for the Interreg IPA South Adriatic programme. 

She will be in charge of providing support to potential beneficiaries in Montenegro and serve as a national information point for the preparation, submission and implementation of projects.

Slađana has over extensive experience in project management, public policy and procurement. Prior to joining the Ministry of European Affairs, Slađana served for five years as the Head of the Department for Contracting and Implementation of EU-funded project at the Ministry of Finance of Montenegro, where she coordinated activities relating to the implementation of eight annual, multi-annual and CBC action programmes funded by the EU. She had previously worked as a Project Manager within the Department for Contracting and Implementation of EU-funded projects at the same ministry and as a Senior Adviser for the Protection of Children at risk. More recently, Slađana was involved as a Procurement Expert at the Regional Challenge Fund (RCF) for the Western Balkans. 

Slađana holds a BA in Social Politics and Social Work and an MSc in Contemporary Social Politics and Social Work from the University of Montenegro.
