SME BE SMART, Adriatic Blue and Green Economy Forum on 29 June
Overview

Confindustria BARI-BAT, within the framework of the SME BE SMART project co-financed by the Interreg IPA CBC Italy-Albania-Montenegro programme, is organizing the Adriatic Forum on Blue and Green Economy to be held Wednesday, June 29, starting at 9 a.m. at the Nicolaus Hotel, in Bari.

The Forum aims to illustrate regional, national and European policies related to the development of the blue and green economy, outline priorities for the sustainable development of the economy, and explore the complexities involved in gaining access to financing instruments fostering innovative approaches, and to address the issues related to the training and development of new skills for the blue and green economy.

It will provide a platform for representatives of public administration, SMEs, Universities and research centers, and more broadly many other stakeholders to discuss and define further steps to improve the framework and policy conditions for development, so that the so-called blue and green economies become cornerstones of the economies of our territories and become long term strategy to support economic development as a whole.

The afternoon Table will recount some best practices developed in the area.

The Forum as a whole will represent an important opportunity for comparison and debate on strategies for the sustainable development of the blue and green economy in Programme area and on the potential deriving from the "Blue and Green Growth" for the regional and national territory, also looking at successful experiences at European level.
