Overview

The historic town of Kotor, Montenegro, will be the site of a significant workshop on July 3-4, 2024, focusing on the benefits of ecotourism. This workshop, part of the TOUR initiative, brings together international participants to discuss sustainable tourism practices and their impact on cultural heritage and natural landscapes.

Participants will engage in discussions, presentations, and guided tours to better understand and promote sustainable tourism practices. Highlights include a cable car ride from Kotor to the upper station Kuk, a visit to the Old Town of Kotor, and a tour of Aquarium Boka and Perast Old City. These activities will foster discussions on the benefits of ecotourism, the impact of tourism on cultural heritage, and future trends in tourism.
