The fourth event of the CASTER project, funded by the EU through the Interreg IPA CBC Italy-Albania-Montenegro Programme for international collaboration between the three countries of the Lower Adriatic, will take place on Monday 20 September 2021 at the Circolo della Vela in Bari.

The start of the meeting is set for 9.00. Doing the honors will be Giambattista De Tommasi, President of the Circolo della Vela di Bari, together with the Mayor of Santeramo in Colle, Fabrizio Baldassarre. The objective of the event is to build innovative, eco-sustainable sports tourism packages ready to be launched on the tourism market, thanks to the collaboration between sailing and cycling experts, on the one hand, and tour operators, on the other.

During the first session, the representatives of the associated Partners will speak: Raffaele Sannicandro (Director of ASSET), Rossella Porfido (Municipality of Santeramo in Colle), Milos Mracevic (Director of the Montenegrin sports club PVK Jadran), Jolanda Trebicka (President of the Albanian Association EuroPartners Development) and Vincenzo Sassanelli (Vice President of the Bari Sailing Club).

The day will then continue with B2B workshops led by the regional President of the Italian Cyclists Federation Giuseppe Calabrese and by the President of the VIII Zone of the Italian Sailing Federation, Alberto La Tegola.
To coordinate the work, Massimo Lupis, Project Manager of CASTER and coordinator of the internationalization Task Force of ASSET, the Strategic Agency of the Puglia Region for the Ecosustainable Development of the Territory.
