In the framework of the LONETA “Local opportunities for negative emission technologies and their application” project, the workshop “Building cooperation on NETs in the Southern Adriatic” will be held on 16 February 2022. Participation will be ensured both in presence in Ulcinj and also online.

Based on the public-private networking and advocacy activities carried out in the last months, this event aims to present the 1st draft of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the NETs and nature-based solutions in the Southern Adriatic and therefore promote a fruitful debate among relevant stakeholders on the enabling factors, opportunities and investments for the development of these disruptive technologies.

After a brief overview on the rationale of this cooperation mechanism, the MoU’s main objectives and areas of work will be presented and interactive brainstorming and discussion will be fostered among the participants on possible actions to be included in the MoU.
